We have decided to start with the iOS version and an Android version is foreseen for the end of 2024.
Tap on the + button and you can either start typing a name which will also auto-complete through your contacts. If you want to include contacts at the same time, just select them and continue. You can always rename the conversation later.
Click the button to Import Contacts and it will show all your contacts which have a phone number in your Contacts app. Now select them and tap Done when you are done.
On the next text messaging (SMS) screen the selected contacts are populatd with a predefined message to invite them to join. This invitation text message will be sent from your account.
The red circle means the contact has been invited but didn't create a user yet. The green circle means the contact is also an actual user and is able to participate in the conversation.
We need you mobile number so we can send you a verification code to login.
We don't have your email and you don't need a password.
The subscription will be handled completely by Apple and charged on the Apple account you have used to create the subscription.
Download the app on your new phone, login with the same mobile number and use the "Restore Purchases" option to continue using the existing subscription.
Note that it can take a little time to synchronize all conversations on your new iPhone.
You can cancel your subscription by following these instructions.
To protect your content. We don't allow taking screenshots but if one is taken, it is recognizable and identifiable .
1. You decide who is part of the conversation.
2. When you remove a person from the conversation, that complete conversation is deleted on that user's iPhone.
3. When you clear or delete a conversation the same is happening on the phones for all members.
You are 100% in control.
Because one of the reasons for building SEALD is that it is private and secure and no data can be shared outside of the app.
The first time you take a screenshot of the App, you will see a warning showing up.
The second time you will be blocked from the App completely and you can no longer use it.
